قال رسول الله صلى اله عليه وسلم: "إذا هم أحدكم بالأمر فليصل ركعتين من غير الفريضة ثم ليقل: أللهم أني أستخيرك بعلمك، وأستقدرك بقدرتك، وأسألك من فضلك العظيم، أنك تقدر ولا أقدر، وتعلم ولا أعلم، وأنت علاّم الغيوب. أللهم أن كنت تعلم أن هذا الأمر خيرُ لي في ديني ومعاشي وعاقبة أمري(عاجل أمري أو اجله)، أللهم فأقدره لي ثم يسره لي ثم بارك لي فيه. أللهم وأن كنت تعلم أن هذا الأمر شرُ لي في ديني ومعاشي وعاقبة أمري(عاجل أمري أو أجله)، أللهم فأصرفه عني وأقدر لي الخير حيث كان، ثم رضني به. ثم ليسمي حاجته.
Prophet Mohammad PBUH said: “If someone of you is trying to decide about some issue, then he/she should pray two rukah then say:”
“Oh Allah, I ask you by your great knowledge; and I request your great help and I ask for your great favor. Indeed, it is you who knows what I don’t know, it is you who is capable of everything when I can’t do anything on my own, and it is you who is the real knowledgeable of the unseen. Oh Lord, if you see goodness for me in this matter whether in this life or hereafter, then please make it happen for me easily and then bless it for me; and if you see evil and badness for me in this matter whether in this life or hereafter, then abstain it from me and show me the goodness wherever it is then bless it for me”.
“Then you state the matter for which you are asking Allah’s assistance”. For example: marriage, job, relocating or any thing.
